at fyieverybodycooks we want EVERYBODY, and we mean EVERYBODY to be able to learn how to cook!

its a big ask but we think we can do it.  By reimagining how a cookbook is structured, having visual and easy to follow instructions with video to see how its done we can achieve this goal.

lets face it with Daniel's infectious charm and humour anyone can learn, along with him, how to make yummy treats and meals for you, your friends and family.

get started today by purchasing a copy of our party favs cookbook, gather all the ingredients together and follow along with Daniel and I.  They are so delicious, you won’t want to wait till to eat and maybe share them!

I believe everybody should be able to cook something.  It is one of those life skills that is so important. The positive cycle of confidence and independence through cooking has the flow on affect of the person feeling they can conquer anything.

how are we going to teach everybody to cook?

everyone learns differently.  When I thought about how Daniel learns, by looking and doing, I knew that  I had to structure the recipes in a completely different way to how they are printed now.  Conventional cookbooks have a number of built in assumptions about knowing what preheat means or kitchen safety.  These books are great if you already know this but if your just starting to cook or you have some challenges, they won't work.  By changing the way recipes are presented, it make it accessible to anyone no matter their abilities to be able to cook something yummy!

showing Daniel how to cook something really helped as he copied what I did.  When he was cooking it in front of others it showed them that there are no limits and anyone can cook something.  So this highlighted a need to ‘show’ how to make the recipes.  As Daniel is SOOOO charming and charismatic, I thought the best way to show him, and everyone else, how to cook these recipes was through a YouTube cooking show, fyieverybodycooks.  Daniel is a natural in front of the camera and a star was born!
we are planning to write a number of cookbooks that will accompany the cooking show.  The first cookbook, party favs, has 25 fun and fabulous recipes to make for your next party!  Who doesn't like a good party?

down the track, will will be printing the cookbooks in Braille   We will also have options to have sign language and subtitles available so that we can include everyone.

it is our intention to produce an app for your smart phone or tablet so you can watch each step and follow the recipe at your own pace.  These too will include the option of sign language and subtitles.

manufacturing our own measuring cups and kitchen utensils is also on the cards.  Each utensil will be colour coded and so that those who cannot read can see you need one of the red cup, two of the blue etc.  They also will be printed with Braille markings.

in an ideal world we could get all these great ideas done straight away, but as we are just starting out, we need YOUR SUPPORT.

by purchasing the cookbooks, coming along to the cooking classes (either in person or via Zoom), liking & sharing our socials and subscribing to the cooking show it will help us get there sooner so that we really can have EVERYONE cooking.
